In this month’s edition, I am presenting an overview of the most important Astrological Events in May 2021, their meaning, and some guidance on how to take advantage of these energies.
Main Astrological Events in May 2021 and Their Meaning
MAY 6: Venus trine Pluto, 120’ harmonious aspect:
The Goddess of love, beauty, and material wealth will be in a harmonious aspect with Pluto, the Lord of the Underworld, passion, power, and rebirth – a great opportunity for transformation and healing of relationships, personal values, financial matters.
MAY 11: New Moon in Taurus
A New Moon occurs when the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun, thus it becomes invisible to us. Astrologically, the New Moon phase means the Moon and the Sun are in the same sign of the Zodiac.
New Moon in Taurus is a great time to:
- Make financial arrangements;
- Acquire new possessions;
- Apply for a loan & plan for long-term investments;
- Resolve issues related to real estate;
- Sign up new long-term clients
- Collect overdue payments;
- Launch a new product focused on Personal Values and Abundance Mindset
- Work on renovating home and office décor.
This influence will be felt even stronger by those with an emphasized Taurus energy in their birth chart: Sun, Moon, Ascendant or MC in Taurus, personal planets in the 2nd House, Venus involved in major aspects/configurations.
May 14: Jupiter enters Pisces
The giant Jupiter, Lord of the Planets and Good Fortune, enters the sign of Pisces.
Jupiter will remain there until the end of July before moving back (due to the apparent Retrograde motion) to Aquarius for the rest of the year.
When Jupiter is in the Neptunian realm we feel greatly inspired by higher ideals, and feel enthusiastic about following our dreams, developing artistic talents (music, poetry, photography), focusing on spiritual pursuits, being more generous, and helping the less fortunate.
Possible creative insights, prophetic dreams, heightened intuition, strong feelings of deep connection with Nature and the Universe, selfless love, and compassion. Emotions can be ‘larger than life ‘.
May 15-18: Sun trine Pluto
When the Sun, symbol of our personal identity, inner Self, and creative potential meets Pluto there is a strong impulse to transform the self-image, step into our personal power and take control over our life.
This aspect favors activities focused on increasing self-esteem, connecting with our core essence and understanding our role as creators of our reality – all part of healing the ego and increasing self-confidence. Greatly felt by those with dominant Leo and Scorpio energies.
MAY 24: Saturn Retrograde (R) until Oct 11
Expect lack of discipline and consistency, difficulties with accountability, clients may be disorganized and more insecure. Business management will require extra efforts, possible delays in seeing results.
Hard work will be rewarded in time. Saturn is Chronos, the Lord of Time! The words chronic, chronological, chronicle all reflect that connection to time.
This influence will be felt even more by those with emphasized Capricorn energy in their birth chart.
MAY 26: Full Moon in Sagittarius & Total Lunar Eclipse
Time to face the truth!
Communication and information exchange will be emphasized. Analysis of facts and data becomes synthesis (Gemini/Sagittarius dynamic) leading to deriving new meaning from events and situations.
Invite your clients to examine their Emotional Self and balance their instinctive response to emotional triggers by looking at people and circumstances from a higher perspective.
This influence is quite impactful for those with emphasized Gemini and Sagittarius in their birth chart.
May 30: Mercury Retrograde (R) until June 23rd
Possible miscommunication, technology issues, lost correspondence.
It is important to be very clear in messages and information exchange – repeat, explain, put it in writing, avoid ambiguous meaning.
Not a great time to sign important documents and to start new courses as learning could be disrupted.
Possible issues with siblings.
Be even more patient with clients, give them time to process what they need to understand, and invite them to work on their thoughts and the language they use. Words have power, that’s why ‘spelling’ has the same root as the word ‘spell’ as in magic.
We all need to choose carefully the mental and verbal constructs we use as they might manifest as real situations and events.
Be flexible and prepared to adjust your schedule.
