Where would we be today without technology?
With the closed borders and lockdowns that have become the norm for most of us, without tech we’d be even more isolated, alone, and separate.
Technology lets us Zoom with Grandma. Participate in WhatsApp groups with friends. See each other’s lives on Facebook and Instagram and laugh and be entertained with YouTube, TikTok, and Netflix. These tools help us feel a sense of connection even when face-to-face interaction is restricted.
Thank you, technology, for keeping us connected!
This August, The Coach Guardian turns its attention to all things Tech. Many of our articles this month follow the theme of Cool Tech for Coaches. As usual, our authors think outside the box with all topics and dare to share their unique angles and unconventional views.
Here’s some of what you can look forward to this month...
In her usual Unapologetic approach to life and business, the very witty and entertaining, Anne Brewer shares her views on Technology in coaching in, Computer Says “No”.
While Dr Sue Palmer shares her top 5 Apps for Coaches in, You Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks.
Tech does not always need to be new or complex to have considerable value to your coaching business. Do you have the essential basics in place? Check out Junwen Chen’s article, 3 Useful Tools In These Unprecedented Times to find out.
Now let’s talk about some ANCIENT technology! Our resident Astrologer, Angelika Matev, shares the most common Misconceptions About Astrology in her column, Coaches Cosmic Compass.
We also take a deep dive into Psychological Astrology as I interview Angelika on this amazing tool for transformation. If you are curious about Astrology and how it could complement your coaching, you’ll love our interview, Psychological Astrology as a Tool for Coaches.
When it comes to tech, there’s nothing better than clear “HOW TO” step-by-step guides. Our TCG Co-founder and Website Wizard, Jenny Mitchell is fantastic when it comes to turning something scary and overwhelming into a straightforward series of do-able actions. Here are a few that you might love: How to Add Facebook Messenger Chat to Your Website, Website Hosting: What you need to know, 10 Ways to Get Traffic to Your Coaching Website.
And here’s a topic that doesn’t often get a lot of attention but that’s SUPER important: how can you give your clients a human experience while using tech in your business? Our very philosophical tech expert/writer/coach Steven Poelmans, get you thinking holistically about your coaching business tech in How Tech Can Boost Client Happiness.
Dawn Strom reminds us this month that technology is here to make our lives better. She offers great advice to coaches in, How to de-Stress Your Tech in Your Coaching Business.
What’s your Transition Story?
I love the courage, authenticity, and creativity that our select authors bring to the Coach Guardian. If you think you’ve got the spark to speak your truth to raise up the coaching community too, I’d love to hear from you.
Happy Coaching!

Life's a Journey. I don't always get it right but I'm having FUN! I love helping coach changemakers shine their Light, even more, in the world. I do this through a range of enjoyable projects including Ready-Made Coaching Tools, The Coach Guardian, My Coach Office, and my One-to-one, 4-week, Re-Ignite Program (for tenured Changemakers in Transition).
