Leap and the net will follow — That was my mantra when I left the 3-day coach training intake weekend in Melbourne, Australia. I was all pumped up, full of myself and of the possibilities of making my fortune as the world’s best coach.
I was going to change the world because everyone needed to be coached!
That was me 15 years ago.
Although I’m still passionate about coaching, I’m much more sober about it now. I believe coaching is a skill that we all need – that kids should be taught in school but my cocky altruism is gone.
In my coaching career, I have developed humility and a deep respect for every soul on the planet. I honour each soul’s journey. We each hold our own shadows and light, monsters and angels. Ultimately, we are all on our OWN perfect path.
Coaches are not here to save the world. We are here to serve those who are looking for another way to DO Life. We are here to help seekers find the answers that they already have within and possibly provide some helpful resources for them along the way too.

Coaching Jobs
One great way to transition into coaching is to get a job as a coach. So, we’ve recently done some deals with a few job search sites. I’ve checked out their listings for coaching jobs and there are actually a few opportunities for coaches. Check out here and here.
I look forward to seeing lots more listings in the future as coaching continues to become more and more widely known and sought out in organizations (for more on coaching in organizations, be sure to read my October Letter From The Editor).
Happy Anniversary TCG Team and Authors!!!
This month also marks The Coach Guardian’s 1 Year Anniversary!
As Co-Founder and Curating Editor, I have been witness to the astounding growth that comes from projects born from pure loving intent. I am thrilled with the high-quality content that we have the honour to publish for the coaching community.
Jenny and I started this work together as a passion project between friends — founded on Love, Fun, and Expansion. TCG was created to offer a unique collection of articles by and for smart, discerning coaches, healers, and therapists who live to learn and grow.
I hope, as our reader, you have felt that The Coach Guardian is a place where you feel understood, where you have a place to share your voice when you are ready, and where you feel expanded as a practitioner.
What’s your Transition Story?
We’d love to hear your transitioning story… What did you feel like and what did you do when you first started coaching? Where are you on your journey now? Let us know in the comments!
As always,
Happy Coaching!

Life's a Journey. I don't always get it right but I'm having FUN! I love helping coach changemakers shine their Light, even more, in the world. I do this through a range of enjoyable projects including Ready-Made Coaching Tools, The Coach Guardian, My Coach Office, and my One-to-one, 4-week, Re-Ignite Program (for tenured Changemakers in Transition).
