In this month’s edition, I am presenting an overview of the most important Astrological Events in October, 2021, their meaning, and some guidance on how to take advantage of these energies.
Main Astrological Events in October 2021 and Their Meaning
Happy news! Four planets (Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn & Pluto) that have been Retrograde for quite some time now go direct this month! Barriers will be removed, and powerful energy will be released, opening the way to new opportunities and growth!
October Oct 1-3: Mercury square Pluto
Expect communication challenges! During these days choose words wisely as they will be remembered for a long time, so avoid saying something you may regret later. Differences in opinion can cause arguments. Messages may not come across as intended; secrets might be revealed.
Oct 5-10: Mars conjunct Sun
Positive energy, increased vitality, and self-confidence!
It’s a great time to start something new and unleash your creativity. Encourage clients to be more assertive and active in their efforts to improve their sense of self-worth and the ability for self-expression.Oct 6: New Moon in Libra
Time to start new relationships, build a solid network of personal and business contacts & associations. Strong artistic inspiration and social events planning are favoured by this Moon phase, bringing opportunities for more harmony and balance.Oct 7: Pluto in Capricorn goes direct
Healing, Transformation & Regeneration are some of the positive keywords for Pluto!
Pluto is a slow-moving planet and the processes it rules also take time but when no longer in Retrograde Pluto gives a boost of energy to explore the depths of the world within and work towards empowerment, healing, and real inner growth.

Oct 11: Saturn in Aquarius goes direct
Moving towards long-term success becomes possible again!
The Lord of Time allows putting plans into action, to build solid foundations for the future and manifest accomplishment by reaching new heights.
The square with Uranus in Taurus keeps presenting us with some difficulties and resistance to the implementation of innovative ideas but it is also teaching us to overcome obstacles and grow in the process.
Oct 13-16: Sun trine Jupiter
Excellent time to expand, learn and feel the spark of enthusiasm about reaching new horizons and enjoying life!
The word ‘enthusiasm’ comes from the Greek word ‘enthousiasmos’, meaning “filled with God, inspired.” Jupiter is connected to the divine, the higher realm of knowledge and experience, and when connected to the Sun, through a harmonious aspect/trine brings a renewed sense of wonder and the belief that anything is possible!
Use that blessing energy from the Cosmos to work, create and act with hope, faith, and optimism and inspire and guide your clients to do the same.
Focus on abundance and happiness!
Oct 16-19: Sun square Pluto
Be careful! This transit could bring power struggles, crises, and unresolved issues and conflicts to the surface. Keep calm and don’t make major decisions under stress and pressure.
Oct 19: Jupiter goes direct
What was blocked as opportunities for development and growth is now released! Possible expansion and positive intercultural relations.
Oct 20: Mercury goes direct
No more confusion and communication breakdown! Signing contracts, organizing information and data, studying, writing, and speaking become much easier and more productive.
Oct 20: Full Moon in Aries
Be brave and take action to complete tasks and projects! Align your personal needs and values with your work, domestic life, and business direction.
Oct 20-24: Mars square Pluto
Another transit during which it’s important to remain calm, be careful, and avoid aggression and antagonistic interactions.
The negative energy of this aspect is further intensified by the Full Moon in Aries therefore proceed with caution and control your impulses and instinctual responses to various triggers that may come from your personal and business environment.
Oct 31 – Dec 14: Mars in Scorpio
Think and act strategically! New plans for merging financially could be successful at this time. Control your anger and don’t take everything personally. Be ready for powerful, intense, passionate experiences!
